Barbara Campbell, 76, of Rosanky, Texas died Sunday, November 29th, 2015 in Stockdale. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Kimble Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday at the Junction City Cemetery in Junction, Texas with Pastor Scott Hofmann presiding.

Barbara was born September 30th, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a graduate of Spur High School in 1957 and Texas Women's University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1961. She married Mark Campbell on September 14th, 1963 and lived in Ballinger, Texas ranching alongside her husband and three sons until they relocated to Junction, Texas in 1976. Barbara was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was employed by the Texas Department of Human Services for over 20 years assisting local nursing homes and their patients. Mark and Barbara moved to a ranch near Rosanky, Texas in 1995 where they remained active in ranching till his death in 2007. Barbara was a loving Mom and wife always entertaining a full house of boys and their friends. She was also famous for preparing her breakfast of pecan waffles and hot maple syrup with biscuits and gravy (all made from scratch of course).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Campbell; parents, Lester and Pearl Turbeville and sister, Laura Beth Arnold.

She is survived by her sister, Lester Pearl Hooper and husband Louis of Rosanky, Texas; brother-in-law, Jim Arnold of Lubbock Texas; brother-in-law, Hugh Campbell III and his wife Suzanne of San Angelo; three sons: Jonathan M. Campbell and wife Margie of Seguin, Ladd D. Campbell and wife Kristin of Chandler, AZ, and Rollin "Skip" Campbell and wife Kelly of Houston Texas; six grandchildren, Megan, Courtney, Garrett, Alexa, Avery and Colby.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks the memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association (1-800-272-3900 ALZ.Org) or the Kimble County Library. (325-446-2342)
