Anna Henry

Anna Dye Henry, 76, went home to Heaven on May 8, 2023.  She passed at her home in Junction, Texas surrounded by her loving family. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday May 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Junction, Texas.   The Pastor Jim Barker will be leading the service. We invite you to wear your brightest colors or floral clothing to honor her.

Anna was born in Moberly, Missouri on August 8, 1946 to Glenn Dye & Norma Hayhurst Dye.   The family moved to San Angelo, Texas when she was four years old.   There she grew up, graduated from Central High School and began a long career in Medical Records.  She met the love of her life, Paul Henry, when she was 16.   They married in 1965 and started a lifetime adventure, including raising a daughter Susan (Suzi) Henry Welch.

In 1979, the family moved to Junction, TX where Anna completed a 47-year career in Medical Records.

Anna was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, Junction and served as an ordained elder.  She was active in the Meals on Wheels organization.  Her favorite things in life were her family, antique hunting, birds, gardening and loving on babies and young children.  We will always remember her kind heart and genuine interest and concern for every one she knew. 

She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Paul Henry; daughter, Susan (Suzi) Welch and partner Rheana Benes; Mimsy to three grandchildren, Ethan Welch, Trenton Welch and Journey Benes; two brothers, Kenny Dye (Linda) and Dale Dye (Cheryl); stepchildren, Colin & Patty Capelle, Jan Mackenzie & Wayne Clark, Michael & Denise Henry and their families.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to Meals on Wheels of Junction, TX or your favorite charity.
